I work primarily with self-publishing authors, and provide a variety of editing and associated services to help you take your manuscript from woe to go!

My primary interests are novels, short stories, and non-fiction works in most genres (no poetry). Generally, I am guided by the Editors’ Association of Canada, the Canadian Press Stylebook, and the Chicago Manual of Style.

I can work on your manuscript at any stage and provide one or more types of edit. Each is described (opposite) so you have an idea of what’s involved. However, when working on a book, the edits often overlap, depending on your needs and your experience as a writer.
